#Confession

I’m so obsessed with The Last Dance on Netflix that I went and bought a basketball yesterday and shot some hoops.

No this isn’t some weird career pivot into basketball (I’m a netballer and don’t believe in backboards!).

Something about the fluidity of those basketball highlights reels on the show just compelled me to go outside and play.

It’s an amazing documentary. I’ve replayed certain scenes and quotes thinking “How great would it be to play this scene in a leadership workshop?”

One of my favourites was someone telling Michael Jordan “There’s no I in Team.”

Michael responded, “No but there’s an I in Win!” (This was before Michael realised that for the Bulls to win, they had to do it together).

He also shares that he never got his teammates to do anything he wasn’t willing to do himself.

It’s an incredible behind the scenes view of what it takes to be the best.

Have you seen it? What did you think?
