I think that settling for GOOD can be GREAT.

The need to make things perfect before shipping it is a theme that continues to jump up in conversations I have.

You really have to stop and think, “Okay, if I wait a week, what % will this thing improve by?”

Usually, if you're being honest with yourself, it’s only 5-10%.

Speed and the ability to turn things around is more important than ever right now.

That's why I aim to be a ONE SHOT WONDER, recording podcasts in one go, and recording videos/Looms in one attempt. Not overthinking an email response. Sending ideas in draft form, just to kick off a process.

For me? It’s not worth redoing or delaying for a slight, incremental gain.

Plus, the more I wait on something, the more bandwidth it takes up. The heavier it gets. It's just there on the daily list, not moving. Ugh.

My tip?

Get it good enough.
Get it off your plate.
Get it out there.

Move!
That's how you build momentum.

(Of course, disregard this tip if you’re a surgeon, work in risk/quality, or lives depend on it!)
